ORCID integration

How it works

What the connection does.

Sign in or sign up with your ORCID iD. If ORCID keeps your email private, add an address at signup.

  • Institution, verified

Your current employment on ORCID fills in your institution, if you have not set one, and marks it verified.

  • Your published work

Your iD links your publication record, matched through the iD, the DOIs of your own works or your employer. Never by your name alone.

  • Seen by collaborators

Your profile card carries your iD, linked to your ORCID record. Only people who share a project with you see it.

  • Suggested reviewers

In editorial review, a suggested reviewer with an ORCID iD links to their record.

  • Student pricing

A current degree on your record can confirm 50% off the Researcher plan.
